Physician - Interventional CardiologyJob Details:
Provide interventional cardiology coverage from May 1 - June 30, 2026
Work in inpatient/call practice setting with EPIC documentation system
Coverage needed due to affiliate cardiology group possibly departing from facility
Weekday staffing Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM onsite
On-call coverage weekday evenings 5:00 PM - 7:00 AM and full weekends
STEMI call aligned with unassigned call and noninvasive coverage
Manage approximately 2 daily inpatient admissions per physician
Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
Work alongside other interventional cardiologists during coverage period
Perform balloon angioplasties, coronary angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
Conduct heart catheterizations, coronary angiograms, and medical management of vascular disease
Provide embolic protection, carotid artery stenting, and atherectomy procedures
Must be Board Certified with active Virginia state license
BLS/ACLS certification required with clean malpractice history
Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
Emergency or temporary privileges for credentialing
