You want a firm where that expertise is the core product, not a subset of a general litigation practice.What You'll DoManage and litigate PAGA claims and wage and hour class actions from inception through resolution or trialDevelop and execute litigation strategies that balance risk, settlement value, and litigation costOversee discovery, depose key witnesses, and prepare for hearings and trialAdvise employer clients on California labor law compliance, wage and hour audits, classification issues, and meal/rest break obligationsSupervise and mentor junior attorneys and staff; review motions, pleadings, and discovery responsesContribute to business development — client presentations, compliance training, industry networkingWhat We're Looking For8+ years of employment law defense experience with significant PAGA, class action, and wage/hour work (required)Well-established, exclusive employment litigation defense background — not general civil litigationActive California State Bar membership in good standingTrial experience preferred; public entity defense experience a plusIMPORTANT TO KNOWFully remote; must be California-based. The practice covers workers' compensation, employment law, general liability, and DWC/OSIP audit consulting.
