K-12 Campus Supervisor / School Improvement Specialist
Reports To: Superintendent or Building PrincipalContract: 210 days (based on district calendar)FLSA Status: ExemptPosition SummaryThe K-12 Campus Supervisor / School Improvement Specialist provides leadership in improving student achievement across all grade levels. This position supports instructional quality, supervises staff, and ensures alignment with Arkansas state standards and accountability requirements. The role focuses on data-driven decision-making, professional development, and implementation of school improvement initiatives.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstructional Leadership & School ImprovementLead development, implementation, and monitoring of campus and district school improvement plansSupport standards-based instruction aligned to Arkansas academic frameworksAnalyze student performance data to drive instructional decisions and interventionsMonitor progress toward state accountability goalsStaff Supervision & SupportSupervise and evaluate certified and classified staff in accordance with district policies (e.g., TESS)Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support for instructional improvementAssist with recruitment, hiring, and retention of staffProfessional DevelopmentDesign and deliver job-embedded professional learning for teachers and staffSupport implementation of research-based instructional practicesFacilitate data team meetings and professional learning communities (PLCs)Student Achievement & InterventionIdentify at-risk students and coordinate appropriate academic and behavioral interventionsOversee programs such as RTI/MTSS and Alternative Learning Environments (ALE)Monitor student progress and adjust supports as neededProgram Compliance & ReportingEnsure compliance with Arkansas Department of Education (DESE) regulations and federal program requirementsMaintain accurate records and prepare required reportsSupport program audits and reviewsCollaboration & CommunicationCollaborate with administrators, teachers, and district staff to ensure cohesive instructional practicesCommunicate effectively with parents and stakeholdersParticipate in district and school leadership teamsQualificationsMaster's degree in Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or related fieldValid Arkansas administrator licensure (Principal or equivalent preferred)Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experienceExperience in instructional coaching, data analysis, or school improvement preferredKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong understanding of Arkansas academic standards and accountability systemsAbility to analyze and interpret student achievement dataEffective leadership, coaching, and supervision skillsKnowledge of RTI/MTSS frameworks and intervention strategiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsWorking ConditionsSchool-based and/or district-level assignmentMay require travel between campusesOccasional evening or extended hours for meetings and events
