Lab Technician

Job Title: QA/QC Lab Technician (Food Safety & Quality)Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly detail-oriented QA/QC Lab Technician to join our Quality Food Safety (QFS) team. In this role, you will perform critical laboratory analysis on raw agricultural intake and finished products to ensure all outputs meet rigid customer benchmarks and corporate quality specifications. You will operate and calibrate precise laboratory instruments, document operational data, and collaborate across departments to flag processing non-conformances. This position is ideal for a structured professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to upholding strict manufacturing safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Analysis & Sample Preparation• Sample Preparation: Receive, log, and systematically prepare incoming agricultural raw materials and grains for comprehensive quality testing.• Analytical Testing: Perform precise analytical testing on raw products and finished goods utilizing standardized lab equipment and chemical/physical testing methods.• Instrument Calibration: Monitor, operate, and maintain delicate laboratory instruments and testing equipment, executing routine calibrations to guarantee data accuracy.Data Governance & Cross-Functional Communication• Results Documentation: Accurately document and track all analytical test results within the corporate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and shared data platforms.• Non-Conformance Escalation: Promptly and clearly communicate test findings to production leads and shift supervisors; immediately notify appropriate teams of any product non-conformance or quality concerns.• Procedural Tracking: Assist the QFS Manager in maintaining pristine process records, drafting clear, legible shift logs, and supporting lab documentation workflows.Regulatory Compliance & Facility Safety• GMP Enforcement: Adhere strictly to and enforce standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and internal environmental rules.• Cross-Training Adaptability: Master all internal laboratory testing procedures to provide comprehensive cross-functional support, staff relief, and coverage when needed.Qualifications & RequirementsMinimum Qualifications• Experience Baseline: Analytical laboratory or manufacturing quality control experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
