Are you passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences? We're seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to join our luxury hotel team! May be eligible for tips or additional service earnings. EOE. Position Summary: Responsible for the general cleaning and upkeep of guestrooms and other assigned areas. Maintain the guestrooms and buildings to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates and vendors. Assist the Housekeeping Manager supervise the housekeeping department in her absence to ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions of establishment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Clean hotel rooms including bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms. Assigns daily tasks to room attendants and housemen in Opera and HotSOS. Refill daily supplies such as linen, amenities and bathroom accessories. Deliver supplies to the guestrooms upon request. Use HotSOS to make Work orders for any maintenance issue in the guestrooms, or any Public Area in the Hotel. Inspects and evaluates physical condition of rooms, closets, and other areas of the establishment. Inspects guestrooms after being clean by the room attendants using checklist. In the absence of the Housekeeping manager will arrange schedules and assign rooms to the room attendants. Communicate with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure the smooth operation. Maintain confidentiality of information Submits to Housekeeping Manager recommendations for painting, repairs, furnishings, relocation of equipment, reallocation of space, and any inventory needs. Role model on procedures for team members. Complete any other job duties assigned. Qualifications: Must be able to work at a flexible and rotating schedule including weekends and holidays. Must be energetic, organized, responsive, multi-task oriented. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Possess experience in room cleaning, room inspection and laundry in a Hotel environment. Possess effective communication skills. Possess basic administrative skills. Bilingual required. Supervisory Responsibilities: Provides direction to the employees in the Housekeeping and Laundry service when the Executive Housekeeper is unavailable. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally quiet. Schedule: The schedule will be a regular, full-time position, normally working 40 hours per work week in both AM or PM shifts. Must be available and willing to work days, evenings and weekends.
