Biospecimen Project Manager

We are seeking a highly organized Biospecimen Project Manager to support biospecimen order fulfillment activities within a Clinical Genetics & Biospecimens (CGB) environment. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, laboratory teams, and external vendors to ensure the timely, compliant, and high-quality delivery of biospecimens for research and development projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage biospecimen requests from initiation through successful fulfillment.Develop project timelines, monitor milestones, and coordinate multiple concurrent projects.Collaborate with laboratory teams, internal customers, and external biorepository vendors.Track project progress, identify risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.Coordinate biospecimen shipments while maintaining sample integrity and compliance.Maintain project documentation, order tracking, and operational records.Support biospecimen transfers into biorepositories and ensure accurate documentation.Ensure compliance with GxP, quality, and regulatory requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Clinical Research, Project Management, or a related discipline.3+ years of experience in biospecimen management, biobanking, laboratory operations, clinical research, or project management.Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook, PowerPoint).Preferred QualificationsExperience in biobanking, biorepository operations, or clinical trials.Knowledge of biospecimen collection, storage, shipping, and chain of custody.Familiarity with GxP, quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements.Experience using project management or order-tracking systems.
