Applicants can expect to join a growing, production-driven environment that values precision, teamwork, and customer service.Role Description The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Webster, SD. This role oversees the company’s financial operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, reviewing and approving journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end close processes. The Controller manages accounts payable and receivable functions, supports payroll accuracy, and ensures compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and relevant regulations. This position partners with leadership to analyze financial performance, prepare management reports, support audits, and recommend process improvements that enhance profitability and operational efficiency.QualificationsStrong financial accounting and reporting skills, including experience with general ledger management, month-end close, and preparation of financial statements.Proficiency with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making.Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow, with attention to accuracy and timeliness.Knowledge of internal controls, compliance, and audit processes, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.Advanced skills in accounting and ERP software, along with strong Excel and other spreadsheet capabilities.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with leadership.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred but not required.Previous experience as a Controller, Accounting Manager, or similar senior accounting role in manufacturing or distribution is highly beneficial.Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to maintaining accurate financial records and continuous process improvement.
