Job Title: Java / Angular Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Indianapolis, Indiana, USA (Hybrid)Work Model: Onsite 2 days one week, 3 days the following weekDuration: Contract – 8 months (till end of the year)Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Java / Angular Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced application development team. The role focuses on building and enhancing enterprise-level applications supporting agency and member management systems. The ideal candidate will have strong backend expertise in Java along with modern front-end experience in Angular.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain full stack applications using Java and AngularBuild and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices architectureDevelop responsive, user-friendly front-end components using AngularWork with relational databases (IBM DB2 preferred) to design and optimize SQL queriesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and product ownersParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvementTroubleshoot, debug, and support production applicationsContribute to architectural decisions and implement best practicesParticipate in code reviews, unit testing, and CI/CD processesUtilize Git for version control and Jira for sprint trackingValidate rating logic, data, and configurations before releasesSupport and enhance enterprise insurance applicationsRequired Skills3+ years of hands-on experience in full stack Java developmentStrong experience with Java 17+ and Spring BootExperience with Angular (version 15 or higher; client moving to Angular 21)Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (IBM DB2 preferred)Experience in REST API and microservices developmentFamiliarity with Agile methodologiesExperience with Git and JiraPreferred SkillsBachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)Experience with React or React Native (mobile exposure is a plus)Exposure to C# / .NET technologiesFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)Experience in insurance, financial services, or enterprise environmentsEligibilityCandidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipAdditional InformationThis is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-moving environment, contributing to modern enterprise applications while gaining exposure to full stack development, cloud technologies, and mobile application development.
