FERNLEY, NV Order: 1060029 Order Type : Long Term The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and products. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards while maintaining an organized and productive warehouse environment. Key ResponsibilitiesReceiving & InspectionReceive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of materials and products. Verify quantities, product condition, and accuracy against packing slips, bills of lading, or other shipping documents. Identify and report damaged products, shortages, or discrepancies. Order FulfillmentAccurately pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer or internal orders for shipment. Label, wrap, and secure products to prevent damage during storage or transit. Assist with loading outbound trucks and coordinating shipment schedules. Inventory ManagementStock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations. Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts. Maintain accurate records using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or manual logs. Equipment OperationSafely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks (as certified). Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs. Safety & Facility UpkeepFollow all safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and company policies. Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and free of hazards. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, organization, and workflow efficiency. Teamwork & General SupportWork collaboratively with shipping, production, and supervisory teams to meet daily operational goals. Perform other warehouse or production-related duties as assigned. QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for extended periods. Basic computer skills; experience with WMS preferred. Forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain). Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
