Software Engineer Intern

Conquer Nation Inc. is a 3PL logistics company serving customers across North America. We operate warehousing, order fulfillment, transloading, drayage, freight transportation, and technology-driven logistics solutions. Our technology team builds systems that improve shipment visibility, warehouse operations, and overall logistics efficiency.RoleWe are looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team full-time, on-site in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area.You will work directly on real-world software used to support our logistics operations, including WMS, shipment tracking, internal portals, APIs, and data systems.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain full-stack web applications.Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.Work with databases and optimize application performance.Debug, test, and improve existing systems.Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to turn business requirements into software solutions.Contribute to new features and system improvements.QualificationsCurrently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of programming, OOP, data structures, and algorithms.Good knowledge of the PERN stack: PostgreSQL, Express.js, React, and Node.js.Experience building APIs and working with SQL/PostgreSQL databases.Familiarity with Git, debugging, testing, and software development practices.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment.Logistics/3PL experience is a plus, but not required.This is a hands-on role where you will build software that directly impacts day-to-day logistics operations.
