LNG Technical Specialist

We are looking for candidates with subject matter/technical expertise within LNG plant operations, utilities, and storage/loading terminals to support documentation development by reviewing existing engineering drawings and data to aid in generating content for SOPs, Maintenance Procedures, and Plant Operating Manuals. Familiarity and understanding of APCI technology is desirable.As a technical specialist, you will support our writing team, over an 8-10 month period, with providing LNG expertise including:Reviewing technical data and drawings to develop detailed technical design and operating specifications and stepsContributing expertise and knowledge of LNG operations to aid in the creation of training materials and testing of operator knowledgeProviding technical insight for development of content for SOPs including:Normal Startup and ShutdownEmergency ShutdownAbnormal Operations & TroubleshootingProviding technical knowledge to develop corrective maintenance procedures (including step by step responses to equipment failures, repair, and/or replacement procedures)We are looking for candidates who have:Over 10 years of experience with LNG operationsUnderstand how to read and analyze technical documentation and drawings to develop SOPs, Maintenance Procedures, etcHave knowledge of LNG regulatory requirements to generate content that is in compliance with existing regulationsCan work as part of a larger team to develop over 300 documentsMay be asked to work a hybrid schedule in our Houston officePlease do not apply if you are not based in the United States, your application will not be considered.
