Wind Service TechnicianWe are seeking a reliable and motivated Wind Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing wind turbines to ensure their optimal operation. This role is critical to supporting the renewable energy industry and demands a strong commitment to safety, technical skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments. This position requires 100% travel.Key Responsibilities:Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systemsDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues to minimize downtimeReplace or repair turbine components as neededPerform tag lining, tower cleaning, confined space entry/support, LOTO, platform rigging, general maintenance/inspection and other miscellaneous duties as required by customers, facilities, and work scopeSafety and ComplianceStrictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure personal and team safetyConduct Job Site Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments before starting tasksMaintain compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standardsInspectionsConduct routine inspections of turbines, towers, and equipment to identify potential issuesDocumentation and ReportingMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, findings, and parts usedProvide detailed reports on inspections, repairs, and performance issues to supervisorsContribute to documentation of best practices for maintenance and repairsTeam Collaboration and TrainingWork closely with site supervisors and other technicians to prioritize and complete tasksParticipate in ongoing training programs to advance technical knowledge and certificationsShare knowledge and mentor less-experienced techniciansExperience, Qualifications, and Requirements:High School diploma or equivalent is requiredMust be at a minimum of eighteen (18) years of ageGWO BST requiredGWO BTT preferredNFPA 70 preferredExperience in wind turbine maintenance or related electrical/mechanical systemsKnowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems and troubleshootingTechnical SkillsProficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and electrical test equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and ability to work on complex machineryFamiliarity with SCADA systems and turbine-specific software is preferredWork Conditions:Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in diverse industrial environments with varying climate conditionsInteraction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors, client personnel and a wide range of stakeholdersWorking in a plant and/or shop area around production machinery with extreme noise levelsWork from various levels of heights and/or confined spaces for long periods of timeWear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection (PPE)May require working from heights at 250' or greaterTravel to different job sites as needed,
