Working for our team, you can truly make a difference.We are currently looking for Finishing Machine Operators and Printing Press Assistants to join our growing team!Why Work At MCCCompensation: $20 - $23/hour, depending on shift & experience.Shift Times: 12 hour days OR 12 hour nights on a 2-2-3 rotation.Excellent training and support team.Opportunity to grow with the global organization and learn from the best.Great environment with a strong and friendly team or co-workersGenerous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and 401(k)Paid Holidays: New Years, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, plus two floating Holidays Responsibilities For Press AssistantsAssists the Press Operator: set up materials, printing press feed, printing units with ink and other supplies and logistics activities. Maintains job information in ERP system.Assures quality - realizes specifications of printing job.Performs daily maintenance and preventive maintenance and cleaning of printing press to ensure a clean working environment.Operates a transporter pallet, operates interface of the printing press and Cutstar control panel.Understands Risk and Safety and Hazard and precaution Statements.Responsibilities For Finishing OperatorsContinuously checks for print and seam quality.Removes defective material and splices the roll web back together per the specification.Utilizes a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during splicing procedure (tools are used at other times as necessary).Handles rolls and palletizes them accordingly as to not cause damage to them.Must understand basic printing and seam related defects.Recording and entering data on designated paperwork as well as in the company operation system (Globetek).Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsWork SAFELY- Comply with all company and safety policies and proceduresBe DEPENDABLE- regular and predictable attendance and work overtime when requiredBe a TEAM PLAYER- ability to assist others with machine set‐up, run, and clean upBe CARING- respect others and communicate openlyStrong Communication, organization and prioritization skillsHigh School Diploma or GED Equivalent requiredAbility to work in the US without company sponsorship requiredStrong proficiency in the use of computer systemsAbility to work in a team environment with a high sense of urgency for on‐time completion of assigned activitiesQuality conscious and customer focusedSelf-directed individual with outstanding decision making and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Software including Outlook and have the ability to learn company specialized software programAbility to add and subtract, multiply and divide to figure label counts and conversionsAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distanceMust be able to lift 20lbs on a frequent basis and 50lbs on an occasional basisSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focusOther ConsiderationsWear hearing, foot, eye and/or other personal protective equipment while in a manufacturing settingFrequently use hands to handle or feel, and to write and typeOccasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb / balance, and reach with hands and armsFrequently lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 35 poundsOccasionally required to stand, walk, and sitVision abilities include – close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to distinguish color variations, ability to adjust focus, ability to view a computer screen for extended periodsLow to moderate noise environment in office areas, moderate to loud in manufacturingWork flexible/varying schedules and hours as neededWork overtime as required by workload and customer mandated deadlines #APPCASTFor over a century, Multi-Color Corporation (MCC) has crafted premium labels for the world’s most iconic and recognizable brands.
