Pressure Vessel Welder — ASME Section VIII, Div. 1
Reports to: Director of OperationsA day in this rolePicture your workday starting at 6:00 AM. You review the plan with the Plant Foreman and your Assigned Fitter, then set up for FCAW with an emphasis on precise back-gouging. You run code-compliant welds to strict customer specifications, clean each section for inspection, and record your time accurately. Throughout the day, you collaborate with our Internal Quality Control Manager and respond professionally to questions from customer site inspectors and the Authorized Inspector. You keep tools in top shape, follow every safety protocol, and manage your schedule with minimal supervision so work is finished on time and without defects.
