The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Visualization, and Microsoft Power Platform technologies.This role will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level Power BI solutions that deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders and executive leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop complex, enterprise-level Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX, Power Query, and advanced Power BI capabilities.Build scalable and efficient data models, calculated columns, measures, and KPIs using advanced DAX.Optimize DAX queries, data models, and dashboards for performance and usability.Develop ETL/data transformation processes across multiple data sources.Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, Azure services, and enterprise databases.Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, architects, and data engineering teams to gather and translate business requirements into BI solutions.Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for reporting and analytics.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, integrity, and quality across reports and dashboards.Apply Power BI development, deployment, security, governance, and performance best practices.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.Stay current with new Power BI, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure data and analytics capabilities.Required Qualifications12–15 years of overall IT experience.10+ years of hands-on Power BI experience.Advanced expertise in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.Strong hands-on experience with DAX and Power Query (M).Strong understanding of data modeling, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts.Strong SQL development experience, particularly with Microsoft SQL Server.Experience developing ETL/data transformation solutions.Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise sources, including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, REST APIs, and Azure.Strong experience with dashboard performance optimization and troubleshooting.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.Preferred SkillsOil & Gas industry experience is highly preferred.Experience with Microsoft Azure data and analytics services.Familiarity with Cognos or other enterprise BI/reporting platforms.Experience working with Microsoft Power Platform technologies.Important📍 This is an onsite position in Houston, TX.💼 This opportunity is available on W2.Candidates should be comfortable working onsite in Houston and have the required senior-level hands-on Power BI experience.#PowerBI #PowerBIDeveloper #SeniorPowerBIDeveloper #DAX #PowerQuery #SQL #Azure #BusinessIntelligence #DataAnalytics #DataVisualization #HoustonJobs #TexasJobs #W2Jobs #PowerPlatform #Hiring
