About The RoleTechnical Program Manager - AHE Operations and AI EnablementOnsite in Foster City, CA | at least 3 days in officeZoox’s Advanced Hardware Engineering (AHE) team is responsible for delivering the compute andcontrols hardware, infotainment and telematics control units, and electrical components that powerZoox’s future fleet of self-driving vehicles.We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead AHE Operations including Quarterly Planning,budgeting, and various other operational improvement initiatives. You will also lead the definition,development and roll out of AI automation tools that empower AHE TPMs and Engineering tosignificantly elevate their productivity.In this role, you will work cross-functionally with engineering teams and partners across hardware,firmware, software, vehicle engineering, procurement, and manufacturing. You will serve as anauthentic and passionate servant leader within One Zoox. And if you’re an expert at herding cats and influencing withoutformal authority, this role was made for you.In this role, you will:- Lead AHE Operations: Lead AHE Quarterly Planning process, budgeting, and various otheroperational improvement initiatives, including developing systematic approaches to JIRA planning andissue management frameworks and improving TPM processes.- Lead AHE AI tools and scaling: Lead the definition, development and rollout of AI automation toolsleveraging JIRA, Confluence, Slack, Google Suite, and other IT tools.- Drive Issue Resolution: Own JIRA hygiene and issue-resolution targets, supporting resolution ofcritical issues and cross-team requests.- Configuration Management: Streamline firmware configuration across projects and targetconfigurations.- Collaborate: Invite diverse perspectives and ensure all voices are included in decision-making.- Communicate Status: Develop reports and summaries to communicate program status, risks, issues,and achievements.Qualifications:- BS/MS degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.- 6+ years in Technical Program Management with experience delivering complex cross-functionalprograms.- Familiarity with product development processes and tools such as Gantt charts, Smartsheet, andJIRA.- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI tools such as Claude and Gemini.
