A company is looking for a Billing & Coding Associate to manage the revenue cycle and ensure claims are processed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Review patient medical records to extract information and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes Create, review, and submit clean claims to insurance payers using billing software Follow up on unpaid claims, handle denials, initiate appeals, and manage accounts receivable Required Qualifications 1-3 years of experience as a biller and/or coder with equivalent education/certification Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Associate (CCA) is required Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Proficiency in navigating multiple software tools, including Google Sheets Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving responsibilities
