No 440'sRequires min of 2 year of working inside an independent Florida insurance agency. Prefer 3 to 5 years working in a Florida Independent Agency.Lives and works in Jacksonville, Florida area. Our office is located in Mandarin area of Jacksonville (32223). We feel this is an outstanding place to grow professionally.Job Responsibilities:Establish working relationships with clients, potential clients, and companies we represent on the phone, email, and on paperFollow-up for clients and prospectsQuote and bind home, auto, and other personal policiesReview insurance coverage and make recommendationsResearch and resolve coverage questionsPromptly respond to client needs either on the phone or electronicallyMaintain client files and process routine correspondence between our agency and the client or company both paper records and our many different software programsCultivate new opportunities and offer additional lines of insurance through consultative sellingAssist with other office duties as they arise and are neededProfessional and Personal Skills:Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookUse of a prior Agency Management System - like Epic, Applied, AMS -- we use Hawksoft and Agency ZoomAbility to Use Quote Rush or Ezlynx - rating softwareType quickly and accuratelyExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenOrganized, structured, punctual, and will follow the rulesPatient, respectful, reliable, trustworthy, friendly, supportive, articulate, kind, ethical and honestAttention to Detail is a must for this jobBenefits:We offer competitive wagesBenefits include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, long and short-term disability, paid time off, and 3% company match to the company-sponsored retirement plan.Compensation: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
