If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you are invited to apply for this role.Project Controls / Technical CoordinatorTRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Project Controls / Technical Coordinator to support engineering and construction projects by coordinating technical documentation, schedules, cost data, and project controls activities.This role serves as a key interface between project management, engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure accurate reporting, document control, and alignment with project execution standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate project controls activities including schedule updates, progress tracking, and cost data collectionSupport development and maintenance of project schedules, forecasts, and performance reportsTrack engineering deliverables, technical documents, and construction progress against project plansAssist with change management, trends, and risk/opportunity trackingPrepare and distribute project status reports, dashboards, and presentationsInterface with engineering disciplines, construction teams, procurement, and subcontractors to validate technical and progress informationSupport document control processes, including tracking drawings, specifications, and technical submittalsAssist with baseline development, updates, and change control documentationSupport project closeout activities, including final reporting and lessons learnedEnsure compliance with procedures, contract requirements, and client standardsRequired QualificationsEducation & Experience (one of the following):Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience, ORHigh school diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant project controls or technical coordination experienceAdditional requirements:Experience supporting engineering and/or construction projectsWorking knowledge of project controls principles, scheduling, and reportingProficiency with tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, and document management systemsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to coordinate across multiple disciplines and communicate effectively with stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience working in EPC or construction contractor environmentsFamiliarity with earned value management (EVM) conceptsExperience with cost systems, reporting tools, or ERP platformsPrior experience supporting large or complex capital projectsWork EnvironmentOffice-based with potential travel to project or construction sites as requiredMay support multiple projects simultaneouslyFast-paced, collaborative engineering and construction environment
