Inside Sales Representative (Energy Advisor) — Contract

Electrum is seeking experienced Inside Sales Representatives—Energy Advisors—to support the continued growth of our solar and electrification marketplace.This is a fully remote, commission-only contract role, with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.As an Energy Advisor, you’ll work with qualified homeowner leads and manage the sales process end to end. Success in this role requires the ability to build trust quickly, move conversations forward with intention, and close deals efficiently—while maintaining a high standard of transparency, accuracy, and professionalism.What You'll DoManage the full sales cycle for qualified inbound leads, from consultation through contractConduct remote sales conversations via video, phone, text, and emaiReview and analyze solar and storage bids and provide clear, informed recommendationsClose contracts remotely while maintaining a strong customer experienceProcess contracts accurately and maintain relationships that support repeat and referral businessUse Electrum’s CRM and proprietary tools to manage pipeline and performanceBuild and maintain expertise in solar, storage, and home electrificationFollow established workflows with a high level of attention to detailContribute feedback to improve sales processes and the overall customer experienceWhat You've Done2–5 years of experience in a sales role with responsibility for closing dealsPrior solar or clean energy sales experience strongly preferred and considered a significant advantageExperience working in a CRM-driven sales environmentActive California State Licensed Home Improvement Salesperson (preferred)Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experienceWho You AreComfortable owning a pipeline and accountable for outcomesAble to balance consultative conversations with forward momentumClear, confident, and professional in written and verbal communicationOrganized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-throughMotivated by performance, learning, and continuous improvementAble to work independently in a remote environment while staying aligned with team goalsYou value transparency and long-term credibility with customersCompensation & Role Structure This role is structured as a commission-only, contract position.
