We are seeking an experienced Drinking Water Analyst to join our team.Position SummaryThe Drinking Water Analyst is responsible for analyzing drinking water samples for PFAS and Synthetic Organic Compounds (SOC). This role includes sample preparation, instrument operation, data review, and maintaining accurate laboratory records. The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively while supporting high-quality laboratory operations.ResponsibilitiesAnalyze client samples according to established laboratory procedures.Prepare samples, standards, and solutions.Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.Accurately document laboratory activities and maintain logbooks.Enter and review analytical data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).Complete testing processes from sample receipt through data reporting.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field.3+ years of analytical laboratory experience, including at least 1 year working with drinking water samples.Experience with laboratory instrumentation, troubleshooting, and method development.Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.PreferredExperience with liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, particularly Agilent or Thermo Fisher systems.Knowledge of chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures.Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to continuous learning.ScheduleFull-time, hourly position (40+ hours/week)Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (flexible start time available)Overtime as needed to meet project and sample hold-time requirementsCompensation & BenefitsPay: Competitive and based on experienceBenefits (after introductory period):100% employer-paid medical and dental coverage for employees401(k) with company matchPaid vacationPaid medical leaveAdditional InformationApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
