Job DescriptionIMS Buhrke-Olson, an industry leader in precision metal stamping and assembly with manufacturing locations in the US and Mexico, is seeking an Estimator for its Arlington Heights, IL facility. Seeking a self-motivated individual who is able to work on their own and with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment!This is a full-time position with benefits including vacation, medical/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, 401k , Competitive wages and more!Job FunctionsFill out quote worksheet and establish folder for engineering department. Process requests for quotes for raw materials, special equipment, packaging, and outside services. Process quote worksheet information into formal quotations. Track and monitor disposition of quotes. Formalize feasibility assessments. Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of customer quotations. Ability to inter-face, gather information and monitor the performance of outside vendors and suppliers. Continually research and evaluate suppliers who provide the best value. Strive to reduce quote turn around time through improved methods.
