This role focuses on the evaluation, treatment, and prevention of sports-related injuries in pediatric and teenage athletes within a supportive, growth-oriented private practice.The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating with families, coaches, and interdisciplinary providers while delivering evidence-based, sport-specific care in a fun, motivating environment.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat pediatric and adolescent patients with sports-related and orthopedic conditionsDevelop individualized, age-appropriate treatment plans focused on injury prevention, performance, and return to sportEducate patients and families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and safe return-to-play guidelinesCollaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals as neededOlympic Sports & Spine (OSS) is looking to welcome a Pediatric Sports Physical Therapist to our outstanding Puyallup 112th clinic.Hours are Monday - Friday 4x10s or 5x8s between 7:20 AM - 6:00 PM.Minimum Qualifications1. Degree in Physical Therapy from an institution accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.2. Current Washington State Physical Therapist License (or license applicant status).3. Pediatrics, sports, or orthopedic clinical experience4. Background in athletics, coaching, or youth sports5. Strong communication skills with children, teens, and caregivers6.
