Travel Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist - Polysomnography

American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist for a 12-week travel contract in a pediatric sleep medicine setting, requiring RPSGT certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience.Job Details• Work in a hospital-based pediatric Sleep Medicine Center,• Perform complete diagnostic and therapeutic sleep studies for pediatric patients,• 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM), 3 days per week for 36 hours per week,• Schedule spans Sunday through Saturday with a weekend rotation,• No holiday coverage required,• No on-call requirement,• Team of 2-5 staff per shift,• Uses Cadwell equipment for sleep studies,• Epic EMR in use,Job Requirements• RPSGT certification required,• Minimum of 3 years of polysomnography experience,• Ability to score sleep studies based on AASM scoring rules,• COVID and flu vaccinations required,• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from within the last year,• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• Orientation consists of one week (three shifts) with an assigned preceptor,• Scrubs required,• Candidates must complete a Cannabis Use Disclosure and Acknowledgment Form as required by the facility,• RTO is limited to a maximum of 10 days; any approved RTO must be made up by extending the end of the contract,• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers,• Return employees must have been away from the facility for at least one year; return travelers must have been away for at least 45 days,
