Mechanical Engineer - Hands Mechanisms

Our mission is to create an abundant supply of labor via safe, intelligent humanoids.As we scale from research and development to full-scale manufacturing, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Mechanisms) - Hands, to own a set of NEO systems from a mechanical design perspective. In this role, you will design transmissions, structures, integrate sensors and actuators, perform FEA simulations, etc.Responsibilities* Design, prototype, and validate robotics (electro)mechanical designs* Integrate electronics, sensors and cables in robotic joints with large range of motions and tight packaging* Optimize parts and assemblies for weight and cost* Create high-quality drawings with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) for manufacturing and production* Author concise documentation of design details, requirements, and test plan
