Concierge Assistant Manager
Position OverviewThe Concierge Assistant Manager position ensures the department operates smoothly, delivering personalized and anticipatory service to discerning guests. The Concierge Assistant Manager leads by example, fosters a guest-centric culture, and collaborates with other hotel departments to create unforgettable guest experiences.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:Supervise and mentor the concierge team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high service standards and guest satisfactionAct as a point of contact for VIP and high-profile guests, providing personalized and attentive serviceOversee and assist with guest requests and reservations, including dining, entertainment, transportation, and local activitiesPossess in-depth knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, events, and cultural offerings to provide informed recommendations to guestsAssist in planning and executing special events and guest experiences, collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure seamless executionOffer expert advice on food and beverage options, including restaurant recommendations and food and wine pairingsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as tour operators, entertainment venues, and transportation servicesFoster positive guest relations by engaging with guests, anticipating their needs, and providing attentive service throughout their stayHandle guest concerns or issues with empathy and efficiency, finding timely resolutions or escalating matters to relevant managementConduct regular quality checks on guest services and interactions to ensure they meet the department's high standardsOrganize and conduct ongoing training sessions for the concierge team to enhance their skills and service deliveryAssist with administrative duties, such as preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating departmental meetings.Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessaryQualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
