Peoplelink Staffing Solutions has partnered with a prominent client in the Zeeland area. They seek individuals with TIG & MIG WELDING experience for their* setup and operation of welding operations to produce parts per quality specifications, and to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals.*Full-time TIG/MIG Welder1st Shift 6:30 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday 6:30-12:30 pm Friday Pay rate: $19 Required resume to show work history A Weld test is required, you must have your safety equipment TIG/MIG Welding Primary Duties1. Build parts to customer specification with minimal supervision from raw to finished 2. Interpret weld and machining specifications to meet part requirements 3. Perform weld MIG/TIG 4. Run the first piece and verify against a print for accuracy and quality 5. Qualify part to specification using various measurement methods/tools to ensure acceptable part for the customer 6. Build low volume/high mix products to increase speed to market 7. Any other duties requested by the supervisor. TIG/MIG Welding Miscellaneous Duties1. Housekeeping of personal workspace using 5S. TIG/MIG Welding Safety Requirements1. Wear personal protective equipment as required. TIG/MIG Welding Qualifications1. Ability to read blueprints. 2. Basic knowledge of quality measurement devices. 3. Basic math knowledge. 4. Ability to follow verbal and written procedures. 5. Willingness to learn with the ability to focus on detail and safety. 6. Welding experience (mig/tig) and ability to pass an internal weld test.
