Manufacturing Cost Accountant
*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Cost Accountant to join our finance team. This vital role is responsible for analyzing manufacturing costs, generating financial reports, and ensuring accurate cost management within our production processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting principles, manufacturing industry experience, and proficiency with financial software systems. By leveraging your expertise, you will help optimize cost efficiency, support budgeting initiatives, and provide insightful financial analysis to drive strategic decision-making. *Responsibilities*
* Cost and close various manufacturing jobs, including Stock Component Jobs, Warranty Jobs, Contract Jobs, and others.
* Allocate Labor to Jobs that is aggregated in QuickBooks Time online application.
* Issue QuickBooks ‘Build Assemblies’ to place items into stock for use on Jobs and relieve raw material inventory.
* Update costs to Job Assemblies with Direct Job Labor and Labor Burden.
* Close jobs in QuickBooks Enterprise: Manufacturing & Wholesale software.
* Create invoices for AR on sales order jobs.
* Initiate Inventory Adjustments as needed to complete QB Build Assemblies.
* Inventory oversight as it pertains to QB Build Assemblies and job closing.
* Year-End Inventory Control Management and oversight on Inventory Counts.
*Skills*
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating across departments.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Enterprise Manufacturing & Wholesale (expertise in other accounting software also acceptable).
* Experience in QuickBooks Time (Formerly TSheets) online application.
* Experience in manufacturing job costing, job closing, and inventory control.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
