DevOps EngineerLocation: Westlake TXDuration: Long Term ContractThe Expertise and Skills You BringA minimum of 6-9 years of experience in a Software Engineering function with at least 3 of those in a hands-on DevOps role.Strong experience working with modern infrastructure technologies such as containerization, automation, and build pipelines in Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft AzureStrong experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery using tools like Concourse, GIT, Jenkins, Artifactory, Veracode, Ansible, Terraform, and uDeployExperience with automated application build and support using Maven/Gradle/Ant or other toolsKnowledge of configuration management and infrastructure management systems like Ansible, Chef, Docker, Kubernetes, CloudFormation, EKSExperience with supervising systems such as CloudWatch, Datadog/Splunk, ELK stackGood knowledge of open source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, NodeJS etc.)Basic understanding of design and development of modern service based applications with front-end (Angular, React, HTML, Javascript, CSS) and RESTful back-end (NodeJS, Java 8+, Spring)Experience with automation including unit, and integration testingDesign, implement, customize, deploy, and maintain CICD pipelines and configuration managementMigrating on-premise applications to public cloud platforms like AWS, AZURE, GCP, Openstack. And evaluating new tools to improve build and release processesWorking with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, AthenaWriting Cloud Formation TemplatesUsing python/boto/any languages for implementing AWS solutionsSupervise the health of production and test environmentsTroubleshoot and debug build issues, with a willingness to resolve problemsCollect and report on operational metrics for SLA reporting and capacity planningStrong grasp of Unix-based operating processing systems (Linux).Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science/engineering or related fieldAWS certification (Solution Architect/DevOps) required
