Facility Director — Multi-Field Soccer Complex

Sports Development Group is seeking an experienced Facility Director to lead operations at two municipal soccer complexes in the DFW metroplex: a new 8-field complex (opening 2026) and an established 21-field complex.This is a conditional opportunity pending contract award (decision expected Q1 2026).About the RoleThe Facility Director will serve as the senior on-site leader responsible for all aspects of facility operations, including staff management, field maintenance oversight, event coordination, customer service, vendor relationships, and financial administration. This role reports directly to the Managing Principal of Sports Development Group.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day operations across both complexes (29 total fields)Recruit, train, and supervise full-time and part-time facility staffCoordinate tournament and league scheduling with programming partnersManage field maintenance programs for natural grass and synthetic turfEnsure compliance with City policies, safety standards, and contract requirementsDevelop and monitor operating budgets; manage accounts receivable/payableServe as primary liaison with City Parks & RecreationBuild relationships with tournament operators, leagues, and community organizationsDeliver monthly performance reporting to ownership and City stakeholdersQualificationsRequired:5+ years of sports facility management experienceDemonstrated experience managing multi-field complexes or large recreation facilitiesStaff supervision experience (hiring, training, scheduling, performance management)Budget development and financial oversight experienceStrong understanding of field maintenance requirements (natural grass and/or synthetic turf)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work weekends and evenings during tournaments and eventsPreferred:Experience in municipal or public-private partnership environmentsSoccer-specific facility experienceTournament operations backgroundKnowledge of facility scheduling softwareCPRP, CPRE, or equivalent certificationBilingual (English/Spanish)CompensationBase salary: $80,000–$90,000 (commensurate with experience)Benefits package included (health, dental, vision, PTO)Performance incentives tied to facility KPIsLocationDFW Metroplex (Northeast Dallas County).
