Company DescriptionMi Luna Cuban Café exists to share the best of our heritage with our community: joyful hospitality, flavorful authentic food, creative artistry, and building bridges of relationship that inspire and uplift our employees, guests, and the entire community.  We serve classic Cuban food prepared using original family recipes, and some of our favorite Spanish Caribbean dishes and innovations, in a beautiful culturally-inspired ambience, with accents of Cuba, the broader Caribbean, and the Pacific Northwest. Role DescriptionThe Line / Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking and plating dishes, and ensuring the kitchen is clean and organized. You will work closely with others on the team to quickly serve our guests. Duties include following recipes to create menu items, plating dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and working closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations. This is a full-time (appx. 30-40 hrs), on-site position located in Olympia, WA. QualificationsSkills and experience in food preparation, cooking, food serviceStrong communication and teamwork abilitiesAttention to detail and a commitment to high-quality food preparationPrevious experience in a kitchen or food service environment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask is essentialEnthusiasm for serving great food and collaboration Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) not required but helpful
