Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead

Now Hiring: Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead (Remote)We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer/Lead to take ownership of the Quality Assurance function for a highly data-driven platform in a regulated environment. This role is ideal for someone who can balance QA strategy, process definition, and hands-on testing.Key Responsibilities:Define and drive QA strategy, test planning, automation roadmap, and quality standardsOwn release readiness and ensure deployments meet quality and compliance thresholdsDesign and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testingPerform data validation across complex workflows including financial calculations and reconciliationsBuild and maintain automated test suites for APIs and data validationConduct API and integration testing across multiple systems (REST, SFTP, batch)Track QA metrics such as defect density, coverage, and escape rate, and present insights to stakeholdersLead defect management, root cause analysis, and collaborate closely with engineering teamsSupport UAT, client issue resolution, and ensure compliance with data integrity and audit requirementsRequired Qualifications:10+ years of QA experience with strong ownership of QA processesExperience in data-intensive and regulated environmentsStrong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testingHands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST AssuredExperience with Jira or similar test/defect management toolsStrong background in validating complex data workflows, financial calculations, or reconciliation processesExcellent communication skills with the ability to present quality metrics and risks clearly
