Job Title: Program AdministratorLocation-Type: Onsite Los Angeles, CAStart Date Is: ASAP (May 11 or 18)Duration: 6 to 12+ month contract (20 to 37.5 hours per week)Compensation Range: $27.50/hr - $33/hr W2Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401KMust be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.Job Description:Support a CDC funded research study focused on HIV awareness, risk, and treatment within Hispanic communitiesPartner with local community organizations to identify and engage study participantsConduct structured interviews following IRB protocols on sensitive topics including sexual health, drug use, and access to careBuild trust quickly with participants and create a safe, non judgmental environment for open conversationsParticipate in community outreach efforts and events to support education and awareness initiativesManage interview documentation and ensure accuracy and compliance with research standardsWork independently in the field while collaborating with a small, mission driven teamMust-Haves:2-3+ years of experience working autonomouslyBilingual in Spanish (fluent, conversational for sensitive topics)Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate sensitive conversationsComfortable discussing topics such as sexual behavior, drug use, and HIV without judgmentExcellent interpersonal skills with a warm, empathetic, and curious approachAbility to build trust quickly in community-based environmentsHigh attention to detail and ability to follow strict research protocolsHigh school diploma or equivalent Nice-to-Haves:Experience in research, healthcare, public health, or social workBackground in community outreach or working with underserved populationsFamiliarity with IRB or compliance-driven environments
