Key Account Manager / Flexible Packaging
Are you ready to lead and grow key accounts in the dynamic packaging industry?About The RoleThis role is vital for driving strategic sales initiatives and building strong relationships with key accounts in the packaging industry. You'll focus on maintaining and expanding business with a key client, ensuring growth and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesExecute account strategies to maintain and grow share of wallet and profitability.Manage account complexities and anticipate customer needs.Orchestrate key business negotiations to support client interests.Leverage industry knowledge to enable business success.Grow customer relationships based on trust and respect.Collaborate cross-functionally to support growth strategies and commercialization.Ensure contractual commitments and manage inventory and quality performance indicators.Coordinate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for trials and customer engagement.Manage accounts receivable with the credit department's assistance.Report sales performance and drive forecast accuracy.QualificationsBachelor's Degree.5 years relevant experience in technical, sales, and general management, preferably in the packaging industry.Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability.Strong negotiation skills and understanding of price and profitability.Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.Solution-focused mindset and results-oriented attitude.Strong project management skills and business acumen.Ability to travel domestically and internationally 60% of the time.Work EnvironmentNational or international North American region, depending on account.Annual sales range: $15-30 million (actual sales may vary).At Talent Wave Associates, we connect outstanding talent with exceptional opportunities.
