IT Systems Specialist

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced IT Systems Specialist to support and enhance a global IT environment with a strong focus on ERP systems, cloud technologies, and Microsoft-based infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in maintaining system performance, supporting end users, and leading critical IT initiatives including system migrations, upgrades, and security improvements.This role combines hands-on systems support with project-based work and cross-functional collaboration, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, business-facing IT environment.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Systems Support & AdministrationProvide day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for ERP systems, including **SAP (preferred) or similar platformsServe as a primary point of contact for ERP-related issues and escalationsPartner with business stakeholders to implement system enhancements and improvementsDevelop and deliver training to end users to improve system utilizationCreate and maintain reports and support data analysis effortsIT Infrastructure & Cloud EnvironmentSupport and maintain a Microsoft-based IT environment, including **Microsoft Azure, Active Directory / Entra ID, and Office 365Monitor system performance, user access, and overall system healthAssist in managing cloud infrastructure, backups, and disaster recovery processesEnsure data integrity, system security, and compliance with internal IT policiesSecurity, Audit & ComplianceSupport internal audits by evaluating system controls and identifying risksConduct user access reviews and maintain role-based permissionsAssist in security monitoring and vulnerability management effortsDocument IT processes, controls, and proceduresProject-Based Work & System EnhancementsLead or support system implementations, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., cloud transitions, email platform migrations)Participate in modernizing legacy applications and integrating new technologiesCollaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to execute IT initiativesAssist in gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutionsIT Operations & StrategyContribute to the execution of the IT roadmap aligned with business objectivesSupport IT budgeting and planning effortsEvaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalabilityQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)3–7+ years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or ERP support rolesHands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred)Experience working in Microsoft environments, including Azure, Office 365, and Active DirectoryStrong understanding of IT infrastructure, system administration, and cloud technologiesExperience supporting or participating in IT projects such as migrations, implementations, or upgradesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP administration or supportExposure to identity and access management tools (e.g., Entra ID)Familiarity with security tools and frameworksExperience in a manufacturing or global environmentBasic project management experience or involvement in cross-functional IT initiatives#48818
