Repair Tech - Grapevine$20-25/hrCandidate can choose between 2 shifts: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with 2 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunch OR 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with 2 15-minute breaks and 30-minute lunchClimate controlled environmentDo you have all or most of these?1. Experience in electronics2. Troubleshooting to component level3. Experience replacing surface mount components4. Surface mount solderingJob Description:1. Primary work responsibilities are to diagnose, repair, and test electronicinstruments.2. Will be responsible for learning and assisting with the repair, setup,calibration, and testing of the recording and controlling instruments / test3. equipment used.4. Ensures systems and components meet established specifications.5. Required to complete formal training in area of specialty.6. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within aparticular product.7. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform thefunctions of the job.8. Performs necessary repairs to return product to operational state.9. Works under immediate supervision of group lead or supervisor.POSITION REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:1. Technical diploma or 1-2 years experience as an Electronics Technician orrelated field, or equivalent combination experience and education. Equivalentmilitary experience accepted.2. Demonstrated ability to use bench-top soldering/soldering equipment forinstalling, removing and replacing fine-pitch surface mount electroniccomponents.3. Strong computer skills; must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.4. Working knowledge of bench-top electronic test instruments such asoscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies and PC-based testinstrumentation.5. Interpret assembly drawings, diagrams, schematics and work instructions.6. Works well with other team members.Physical Demands and Work Environment:1. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds andoccasionally lift and/or move heavier weight necessary at times.2. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionallyexposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic orcaustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives.3. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
