Quality Improvement & Safety Director
Job Summary:
The Quality Improvement & Safety Director's primary role is ensuring that all staff within the organization comply with care standards and quality key performance indicators. Collaborates with a Quality Improvement Committee and usually report to the CEO or COO in a hospital setting. Coordinates the development, implementation and evaluation of the hospital's overall quality improvement program. Collaborates with the Chief Medical Officer regarding Quality Improvement clinical issues. At the request of department supervisor, administration, or Quality Improvement Committee will identify trends, prioritize and recommend improvements. Incident reports, patient complaints, patient care concerns and other issues will be directed to the Department Manager for initial investigation then will be forwarded to the Quality Improvement Director. The Quality Improvement Director is also the Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee. Functions with a high degree of autonomy, allowing reporting to the Board of Directors without undo influence on report content.
Educational Requirements:
Registered Nurse in Missouri or Compact State
Preferred BSN
Preferred experience in Quality and Safety in a Critical Access Hospital.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
