This role's location is Amesbury, MA/Portsmouth, NH.
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Wire Transfer Operations Manager, performs all required functions in accordance with regulatory compliance guidelines with Deposit Operations and special focus on Wires.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs daily designated functions of wires and payments
Process beginning of day items
Review and release incoming and outgoing wires
Handles telephone and email inquiries and requests
Performs functions related to the processing of Foreign Currency transactions
Communicate with management and escalate any concerns accordingly including fraudulent transactions
Complete end of day processes
Submit accurate services messages and respond accordingly to service messages to rectify or escalate
Create monthly activity reports; pull daily system reports for review, follow up and communicate outstanding issues on a regular basis
Assist with payment investigations
Assist with updating of procedures, policies, FDICIA guidelines and risk assessments
Process all daily work accurately as deemed necessary
Attend meetings
Assist Branches, Private Bankers, related departments and customer support as deemed necessary in all areas of payments:
Assist with troubleshooting, questions and product
Research and resolve any exceptions or quality review issues with wires and payments
Provide prompt, courteous service to internal/external customer promoting professionalism, confidentiality and the desire to assist
Assist with other areas of Deposit Operations on an as need basis including implementation of any products and services, special projects, as well as establishing and maintaining procedures
Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned

Candidate will be required to cover other shift pattern of the other associate when deemed necessary
Must have reliable transportation ; must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directed

Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
Keen attention to detail
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Banking experience highly preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Knowledge of banking, payments and Wire Operating Rules preferred
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Normal business office environment
PAY RANGE: $20.04 - $26.05
