Reasonable accommodations, as determined by management on a case-by-case basis, may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms daily designated functions of wires and payments Process beginning of day itemsReview and release incoming and outgoing wiresHandles telephone and email inquiries and requestsPerforms functions related to the processing of Foreign Currency transactionsCommunicate with management and escalate any concerns accordingly including fraudulent transactionsComplete end of day processesSubmit accurate services messages and respond accordingly to service messages to rectify or escalateCreate monthly activity reports; pull daily system reports for review, follow up and communicate outstanding issues on a regular basisAssist with payment investigationsAssist with updating of procedures, policies, FDICIA guidelines and risk assessmentsProcess all daily work accurately as deemed necessaryAttend meetingsAssist Branches, Private Bankers, related departments and customer support as deemed necessary in all areas of payments: Assist with troubleshooting, questions and productResearch and resolve any exceptions or quality review issues with wires and paymentsProvide prompt, courteous service to internal/external customer promoting professionalism, confidentiality and the desire to assistAssist with other areas of Deposit Operations on an as need basis including implementation of any products and services, special projects, as well as establishing and maintaining proceduresPerform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned Experience and Skills JOB REQUIREMENTSBe an active team playerHighly motivated and experienced managing multiple tasksDemonstrate and promote high ethical standards and behaviorStrong customer service and problem-solving skillsMaintain a professional manner at all times Adapts and helps others manage changeFluent in written and verbal English communication skillsStrong computer and technical skillsCandidate will be required to cover other shift pattern of the other associate when deemed necessaryMust have reliable transportation ; must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directedAbility to adhere to Needham Bank's Core Values (Focus on Customer Relationship, Embrace Change, Work as a Team, Be an Asset to Your Community, Always Learn, and Do the Right Thing)Strong organizational, planning and time management skillsKeen attention to detailEDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBanking experience highly preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredKnowledge of banking, payments and Wire Operating Rules preferredWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDSNormal business office environmentPAY RANGE: $20.04 - $26.05The pay range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the pay range for this job at the time of posting.Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.At NB, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace - if you are excited about this role, but your past experience doesn't align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we still encourage you to apply.
