PROGRAM and DATA MANAGEMENT ANALYST Client: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Office of International AffairsClearance: Must be able to obtain Public TrustLocation: FAA HQ, Onsite, Washington, DCResidency: Must have maintained permanent residence within the US for the past 3 yearsAuthorized: Must be authorized to work in the United StatesDegree: Must have a bachelor’s degreeExperience: Must have at least 10 years of work experienceSalary: This position may be hired as either a W-2 employee or a 1099 consultant If W-2, salary range is $90,000 - $100,000 per year plus benefits If 1099, hourly range is $65 - $72 per hour (equates to $122,200 - $135,360 per annum) SUMMARYThe Program Analyst will support the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA’s), Office of International Affairs (API), located in the Office of Policy, International Affairs, and Environment (APL), providing analytic support for the FAA’s strategic planning, development, execution, and tracking of global aviation priorities, initiatives, and activities. The Program Analyst will be required to provide strategic planning, international task management, and data management support. In addition, this role will provide support for activities, including the facilitation of meetings, events, projects, and other special event requirements as they develop. The successful candidate will be someone who works well individually and within teams, with minimal supervision, and possesses good interpersonal and communication skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate with API leadership and various related organizations and stakeholders to collect, aggregate, analyze, and disseminate data.Provide database management technical expertise to collect, validate, organize, and analyze aviation data from publicly open sources and from FAA databases to support FAA international and policy resource decision-making.Provide expertise with aviation database maintenance and configuration control to ensure repeatability and consistency for FAA international data-informed decision-making.Lead coordination with FAA Lines of Business (LOBs) to harmonize existing aviation data sets.Provide copies of databases to FAA upon request.Provide analytical expertise to validate existing and gathered dataConduct data analysis and develop data visualizations using Information Technology (IT) tools such as Tableau.Develop narratives to contextualize global data metrics and visuals.Coordinate FAA reviews as needed.Develop data products, including charts, metrics, and any other visuals in accordance with FAA branding guidelines for inclusion in FAA global strategy reports.Provide data insights to include advanced analytics and statistical techniques to establish trends and relationships amongst the data, while promoting data exchange across the agency.
