This role requires exceptional collaboration skills, interfacing with internal teams and external stakeholders.The successful candidate will bring not only certification expertise but also a commitment to our people-centric culture, where each team member contributes to meaningful innovation that positively impacts the environment.How You Will Contribute To Revolutionizing Electric AviationCreate detailed project plans for certification activities and determining the critical path to ensure focus on the right activities Manage planning and completion of certification activities from initial application through final type certificate issuance and into production certification Identification and management of certification related risks Develop tracking tools to show certification status and progress for communication across the organizationMinumum QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineeringor related technical field10+ years of program management experience in civil aviation aircraft development and certificationWorking knowledge of the activities and sequencing required to complete an aircraft or engine certification projectStrong interpersonal skills with ability to work with team members throughout the organizationExcellent ability to be organized without predetermined structureAble to be a pragmatic and creative thinker when solving complex problems in a dynamic environmentWillingness to be a team player and wear different hats on different days depending on the needProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects with multiple stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal communication skills for multi-stakeholder technical environmentsAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment with changing prioritiesProficient in Microsoft products including Microsoft Project and 365/office (SharePoint, Outlook, Calendar, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)Above And Beyond QualificationsProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationExperience coordinating or performing certification or verification testingExperience preparing compliance data in support of commercial certificationExperience working on Initial Type design approvals with the FAAThe wage listed here reflects our best faith estimate for this role. We pay competitively and base compensation on a variety of factors including skills, experience, industry background, and the evolving needs of the role.
