Automotive Warranty Administrator
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Warranty Administrator and AP Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will manage warranty claims, ensure accurate documentation, and facilitate communication between service departments and manufacturers. Additionally, the individual will punch and reconcile invoices, submit billable claims for payment, and remit claims from customers. This role is essential in maintaining efficient warranty processing, supporting customer satisfaction, and ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic automotive environment with a focus on accuracy and customer service excellence.
Duties
Process and submit warranty claims accurately and promptly in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Review repair orders for completeness and compliance before submission
Maintain detailed records of warranty transactions and correspondence
Communicate effectively with technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers regarding claim status and approvals
Verify warranty coverage and eligibility for repairs or parts
Assist in resolving warranty disputes or issues that arise during the claims process
Stay updated on manufacturer policies, procedures, and product updates related to warranties
Support the service department by providing administrative assistance related to warranty documentation and reporting
AP Duties
Skills
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in dealership management software or warranty claim systems preferred
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts, and service processes is a plus
Familiarity with manufacturer warranty policies and claim submission requirements is desirable
Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments
Prior experience in automotive administration or warranty processing is advantageous and preferred.
Reynolds experience a plus.
Experience with GM and/or Ford a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
