Director of Accounting (Controller-Level) | High-Impact Leadership Role | North DFW (Onsite)We are seeking a highly motivated Director of Accounting to lead and scale a growing accounting function within a dynamic, fast-paced organization. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong visibility to executive leadership, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements, enhance financial reporting, and build a high-performing team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end/year-end closeEnsure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAPOversee multi-entity accounting and consolidationsManage and improve internal controls, policies, and proceduresPartner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysisDrive process improvements and system enhancements, particularly within QuickBooksCoordinate audits and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirementsMentor and develop accounting team membersQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reportingExperience in a multi-entity environmentAdvanced Excel skillsExpertise in QuickBooks requiredCPA or Master’s degree preferredWhat Stands OutStrong executive presence and ability to operate in a smaller, high-growth environmentHands-on leader who can balance strategy with executionExperience driving process improvements and scaling accounting functions
