Temporary Facility Maintenance Technician

DescriptionOverview: We are looking for a proactive Temporary Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across our manufacturing plant and other company facilities. This role ensures that all facilities are functional, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general maintenance, minor repairs, painting, and grounds keeping.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform general maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic electrical work.Conduct routine inspections and repairs of facility equipment and infrastructure.Mow, trim, and maintain lawns and grounds; assist with seasonal landscaping tasks.Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.Respond to maintenance requests promptly and document completed work.Assist in setting up or preparing areas for events or projects as needed.Ensure facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards.Collaborate with vendors or contractors when necessary and report issues to supervisors.Perform miscellaneous maintenance-related duties as assigned.RequirementsRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance, repair, or groundskeeping.Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.Ability to operate maintenance tools and equipment safely.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Valid driver’s license.Clean background! Preferred QualificationsForklift certification or experience operating other machinery.Experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance.
