PR Account Executive
The Lede Company is seeking a PR Account Executive to join the team in our Los Angeles office. The Account Executive will play an integral role in supporting fashion, lifestyle and cpg clients and will generally support 5 - 8 retainer accounts and projects. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIESHelp develop and pitch compelling stories and narratives on behalf of clients to secure consistent product-centric coverage and overall develop strong brand awareness Lead select client programs and campaigns from planning to execution Write, proof and edit a variety of PR and marketing materials, while contributing as a team member on client accountsOversee junior team members to review client agendas, recap reports and clips, while also mentoring themManage day-to-day client tasks, including being responsive to incoming client communications and requestsHelp develop and ideate client PR strategies such as client messaging, media + influencer targets, creative seeding ideas, etc.Work alongside partner teams within the agency as well as client partner agenciesSupport onsite at events, coordinate logistics at all stages of programming, and coordinate retail promotionsContribute to monthly, project and/or event reporting and recaps across all clientsAnd other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 2 years PR, media relations, and account management experience in the fashion, lifestyle and cpg verticals; agency experience preferredBachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related fieldExceptional written, verbal and presentation skills Outstanding interpersonal skills Business acumen with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teamsMeticulous attention to detailAbility to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing IDEAL CANDIDATEA collaborative team member and an out-of-the-box thinker An enthusiastic professional with a passion for communications and deep expertise in building, stewarding, and growing relationships A strong communicator, researcher, and strategist who is obsessed with delivering great work A self-starter with energy and creativity who passionate about beauty, wellness and culture ADDITIONAL DETAILSHybrid; minimum 3 days a week in-officeSome evening and weekend hours will be requiredTravel for client events may be requiredThe Lede Company is an equal opportunity employer.
