This role serves as a primary point of contact for residential customers, assisting with account inquiries, fuel orders, deliveries, and service requests. In addition, the position supports marketing initiatives designed to engage, retain, and grow the residential propane customer base through targeted communications, promotions, and outreach efforts. The Customer Service and Marketing Representative collaborates closely with operations, sales, and leadership to ensure consistent customer experience and effective messaging for propane products and services.Essential Functions:Serve as a primary point of contact for residential customers, providing friendly, professional support by phone, email, and in personRespond to customer inquiries related to accounts, billing, fuel orders, deliveries, and service requestsCoordinate with operations to schedule deliveries, initiate service requests, and support new and existing account setupsMaintain accurate and organized customer records using Agfinity's software programsResolve customer issues in a timely manner and escalate concerns as appropriate to ensure customer satisfactionMarketing (Propane Customers):Support and execute marketing initiatives focused on residential propane customersAssist with customer communications, including emails, mailings, promotions, and seasonal outreachCreate and update marketing materials and presentations using Microsoft Word and PowerPointUse Microsoft Excel to track customer data, campaign activity, and marketing resultsSupport customer retention and growth efforts through targeted campaigns and follow-upTechnology & Collaboration:Learn and effectively use Agfinity's software programs to support customer service, order processing, and marketing effortsCollaborate closely with operations, sales, and leadership to ensure consistent messaging and a seamless customer experienceShare customer feedback and insights to support continuous improvementAssist with additional projects or duties as assignedEducation:High School DiplomaExperience:Previous customer service experience preferred; marketing or customer communications experience is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customersExcellent organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skillsAbility to work collaboratively with internal teams, including operations, sales, and leadershipProficiency with basic computer systems and office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointWillingness and ability to learn and effectively use Agfinity's software programsFriendly, dependable, and customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experiencePreferred Marketing Skills:Experience supporting or executing customer-focused marketing campaignsFamiliarity with customer databases, CRM systems, or email marketing toolsAbility to assist with content creation for customer communications, promotions, and presentationsExperience tracking, organizing, or reporting marketing data using Excel or similar toolsInterest in residential energy or propane products and servicesWork Environment & Schedule:This position is based in an office setting and requires regular, in-person attendanceRemote or hybrid work is not available for this roleThe role involves daily interaction with customers and internal team members in the office, by phone, and via emailStandard business hours apply, with occasional flexibility based on business needsAgfinity has a competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Pension Retirement Plan, 401(k) Match Plan, Paid Time Off, Clothing Allowance and Life and Disability coverage for those who may qualify.Agfinity is looking for values of honesty, integrity, lifelong learning, and working hard and working smart, and being kind and courteous.
