Including Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Delivery Excellence, Accounting & Finance and Data Analytics, the DE team drives excellence, efficiency and automation across every practice line.The Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role at Portage Point represents a unique opportunity to assume a wide range of responsibilities and make a significant impact. This Vice President is the first dedicated FP&A hire within the Accounting & Finance function, playing a critical role in building and scaling financial planning and analysis capabilities in a fast-paced, sponsor-backed, entrepreneurial environment. The Vice President will report directly to the Director, Accounting & Finance and will support firm growth through ownership of financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis across the organization. This person will lead key FP&A initiatives, manage discrete workstreams, and work closely with senior leaders. If you thrive in a high-performance culture and want to help build the future of a rapidly growing consultancy, this is the right role for you.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop internal FP&A functionOwn annual budget, monthly forecasting, long-range planning (LRP) and scenario planning processesAnalyze KPIs and support Practice Line Leaders in optimizing delivery productivityImplement scalable processes and automations across A&F, including AI & agentic workflows for key processes with the support of Data Analytics (DA) and Triple P India (TPI) team membersBe a key contributor of value creation, cost optimization and margin expansion effortsMaintain and evolve existing automations in collaboration with DA and TPI teamsOwn the quarterly bonus payout processSupport the Monthly Financial Reporting process and initiative toward a continuous closing cycleOperationalize business process changes that come frequently with firm growthImplement and evolve standard operating procedures for the FP&A functionProvide key stakeholders with information vital to respective decision-making processesCollaborate with executive leadership, private equity sponsor and Delivery Enablement functionsProvide coaching and mentorship to junior team membersSupport firm-building initiativesContribute to a high-performing, inclusive and values-driven cultureQualificationsBachelor’s degree in finance and / or accounting from a top undergraduate programLocated in or willing to relocate to Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles or New YorkInvested in a team-based culture, motivated to collaborate in office four days per weekFive plus years of progressive work experience in a finance roleProficiency in financial modeling and experience implementing automated and scalable solutionsFamiliarity with Workday Adaptive Planning preferred; experience with PowerBI reporting a plusSuperior written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready presentation and reporting skillsProven ability to thrive in lean, fast-moving teamsHigh attention to detail, responsiveness and ownership mindsetTrack record of success in high-pressure, high-visibility environments$160,000 - $200,000 a yearIn accordance with pay transparency laws in the City of New York and the State of California, Portage Point provides a good-faith cash compensation range for this position. This range represents the cash compensation (base plus bonus) that the firm reasonably expects to pay upon hire, based on good-faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting. The final compensation within this range will depend on the candidate’s qualifications, education, training, experience and location.
