The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.71/hour.Information About Benefits Can Be Found Here.Associate Material HandlerJob SummaryThe Associate Material Handler supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. This role requires accuracy, urgency, and consistency in a fast-paced distribution environment. The Associate is expected to execute tasks independently, maintain organization, and contribute to overall team productivity and service levels.Key ResponsibilitiesPull, pack, and ship orders accurately using warehouse management systemsPrioritize and complete orders based on business needs, including same-day and expedited requestsReceive and process inbound shipments; verify product against purchase orders and documentationAccurately move and update inventory within the systemIdentify and escalate inventory discrepancies, damages, or issuesSupport cycle counts and inventory accuracy effortsStage outbound shipments and prepare orders for carrier pickupComplete closeouts and bulk order processing within expected timelinesMaintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas at all timesUse manual equipment such as pallet jacks and carts as neededFollow all safety procedures and report hazards, incidents, or near missesCommunicate clearly with team members and leadership using Slack and other communication toolsRemain flexible and support multiple functions including pull, pack, receive, and RTS based on business needsTake initiative to stay productive and support team operations during downtimeSupport basic reporting, tracking, and documentation using Excel and Word as neededQualifications1+ year of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferredExperience with warehouse management systems preferredExperience using SkuNexus or similar order/inventory management systems is a plusBasic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for tracking and reportingFamiliarity with Slack or similar communication platforms preferredAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and bendingAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven warehouse environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsBasic communication and teamwork skillsSchedule flexibility based on business needs preferredPerformance ExpectationsConsistently completes work accurately and on timeMeets productivity expectations across assigned functionsMaintains clean and organized work areasDemonstrates reliability, accountability, and attention to detailCommunicates effectively and supports team objectives
