LatinoBuilt works with partners within the community to address current inequities and connects contractors to public works project opportunities. Job Description: The Green Program Manager will oversee and manage the development, implementation, and success of LatinoBuilt’s Green Contractors Program. This role is a conduit between Latino-owned construction professionals, homeowners, and key partners. This person leads a small 2-person team, driving key initiatives in alignment with the organization’s, its partners, and Oregon’s sustainability goals. LatinoBuilt’s Green Program Manager will be a key player in growing this established program, funded by key partners and other energy efficiency industry investments. In this role, the Green Program Manager will interact directly with LatinoBuilt’s minority-owned business members. The Manager will also coordinate LatinoBuilt’s work with Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO), including implementing, tracking, reporting, and invoicing. Additionally, the Green Program Manager will lead the planning and implementation of community outreach efforts, such as Nuestro Hogar supported by Northwest Natural.,. This role requires collaboration with internal staff, external stakeholders, and organization leaders to create impactful programs that promote environmental stewardship and innovation. Roles & Responsibilities: - Lead bilingual, culturally specific member outreach efforts, developing and overseeing strategies to engage LatinoBuilt members in Green Construction initiatives and sustainability programs. - Manage and oversee the delivery of LatinoBuilt University Courses related to the Green Construction Curriculum, ensuring alignment with broader program goals and member needs. - Plan, develop, and lead LatinoBuilt outreach events, with a focus on promoting collaboration with the Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO) and other Green programs available to members. - Oversee the tracking, reporting, and invoicing for Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO) and other partner projects, ensuring accurate and timely submission of monthly invoices before the 10th of each month. - Develop and maintain partnerships with reputable organizations advancing energy efficiency and clean energy industries, ensuring collaborative efforts that align with LatinoBuilt’s goals. - - Oversee and manage implementation of LatinoBuilt’s participation in Energy Trust of Oregon’s Community Partner Funder (CPF) Program, ensuring program objectives are met and aligned with community and member needs. - Develop and implement outreach strategies to identify eligible homeowners for green initiatives, coordinating Home Energy Assessments (HEAs) and related efforts. - Provide high-level technical assistance and guidance to LatinoBuilt members on the CPF Program, ensuring members receive the support needed for successful program participation. - Lead the Energy Trust incentive application processes, ensuring members have the resources and support to complete applications and access available incentives. - Foster and manage collaborations with Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and industry partners to drive shared goals in energy efficiency and clean energy. - Ensure a high level of customer service for homeowners and contractors, resolving issues and providing strategic guidance to enhance customer satisfaction and program success. Qualifications: - Proven expertise in program management, with strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee large-scale sustainability initiatives and energy efficiency programs. - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with advanced written and verbal communication skills for managing diverse teams and engaging with stakeholders in both languages. - In-depth knowledge of how incentives and rebates work to accomplish green building strategies and experience with energy efficiency scopes, energy retrofits, and sustainable construction practices. - Understanding of sustainability initiatives and terminology related to the built environment, including concepts like net zero building, energy efficiency strategies, zero energy retrofits, building decarbonization, building electrification, and embodied carbon. - Comprehensive knowledge of building mechanical systems and equipment, particularly in residential applications, with the ability to provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders. - Extensive experience in the residential construction project process, with the ability to manage multiple projects from conception through completion. - Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with LatinoBuilt members, partners, and clients, while ensuring program success and participant satisfaction. Desired Qualifications: - Green building credentials (e.g. SHP, LEED GA, LEED AP, or other relevant certifications). - Knowledge of federal incentives and rebates, state-issued programs, and regional building upgrade programs available to promote sustainability and energy efficiency. - Familiarity with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) or other federal funding programs related to energy efficiency and green construction initiatives, incentives, and rebates. Skills - Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. - Attention to details, processes, and technical forms - Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite. - Strong ability to collaborate in a team setting and perform well in fast-paced environments. - Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships with diverse stakeholders. - Ability to handle conflict effectively and work well under pressure. - Strong bilingual communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and Spanish. - High level of professionalism in all interactions and tasks.
