Principal Software Engineer

We are looking for an innovative, self motivated Principal Software Engineer with experience in developing / maintaining SQL scripts and stored procedures in performance intensive applications in the Network solutions product space. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and will be involved in analyzing, designing and developing enhancements and new components / features to multiple software solutions driving designs on the database aspects of these efforts. You will work closely with other team members, product owners, technical support and operations teams to continually improve and enhance solutions along with diagnosing issues in production, development and test organizations. Duties and Responsibilities Improve and enhance solutions along with diagnosing issues in production, development and test organizations. Creating and maintaining highly scalable applications in an agile environment. Work effectively in a team and collaborate with other team members and stake holders to drive designs and architecture is essential. Required Skills and Experience 4-6 years of related experience in software development with emphasis in relational database technologies. Production database experience Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. Experience developing high performance Stored procedures for SQL Server and/or Oracle. Experience with Microsoft T-SQL. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL. Experience with SQL Server profile tools / Oracle AWR report analysis. Ability to read / understand C#.
